Ketika Tanah Lebih Murah dari Rokok Tabaku Daun Putih: Konflik Tapal Batas dan Politik Tanah di Tanimbar

MT. Empung, Tomohon Gagasan tentang tanah dan konflik yang mengelilinginya sebenarnya sudah muncul di kepala saya sejak saya mendaki Gunung Empung, Tomohon. Baru hari ini saya menuliskannya, setelah semalam saya berdiskusi panjang dengan beberapa teman dan salah satu tokoh masyarakat yang memiliki ambisi untuk maju sebagai bakal calon kepala desa definitif Desa Latdalam. Percakapan itu kembali mengingatkan saya bahwa persoalan tanah di desa kita bukan sekadar soal batas wilayah, tetapi soal masa depan masyarakat itu sendiri. Tanah Murah di Tanah Kaya Ada satu ironi besar yang sedang terjadi di Kepulauan Tanimbar. Di wilayah yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam besar, tanah masyarakat justru pernah dijual dengan harga sekitar Rp10.000–Rp14.000 per meter. Sementara itu harga "tabaku daun putih" (Tembakau Shag : salah satu jenis tembakau iris yang merupakan primadona bagi parah perokok ulung di Desa Latdalam) di wilayah yang sama sekitar Rp15.000 per bungkus. KOLONIALISME SINDROM DALAM RUANG-RUANG KELAS

  Foto: Rutinitas Guru Honorer , berjalan ke Sekolah sebelum pukul 07.00 pagi yang penuh dengan dedikasi meskipun dengan keterbatasan fasilitas dan penghasilan yang tidak sebanding dengan tanggung jawab mereka. Bayangkan, setiap sebelum pukul 07.00 pagi ia sudah berjalan kaki ke Sekolah. Ia harus bangun setiap subuh, meninggalkan keluarganya tanpa sarapan. Sudah menjadi rutinitas yang ia lakoni dengan kesabaran yang luar biasa, padahal setiap akhir bulan ia hanya menerima upah Rp500 ribu: Rp250 ribu dari dana BOS , dan Rp250 ribu dari uang komite siswa. Lima ratus ribu rupiah untuk sebulan penuh—jumlah yang bahkan tidak cukup untuk  kebutuhan pokoknya. Ya... ia adalah seorang guru honorer di sebuah desa terpencil yang berkilo-kilo jaraknya dari “Mama Kota.” Inilah wujud dari pendidikan di “ Negeri Konoha ” hari ini yang masih berkutat pada kolonialisme sindrom .
